Hi Dan, the main advantage to using direct print technology is that by printing directly onto the skin, you bypass the need to stick on the traditional vinyl overlay. Typically, a vinyl overlay will turn the sound of a single ply head into a double ply; thus deadening the tone.

If you are looking for a deader sound, we can also print onto many other varieties of head. Just ask Scott and he’ll talk you through it.

Hi and Happy New Year

Just an initial enquiry.

I need a rush job for a printed bass skin, 22inch.
Would it be possible to print a job by this Thursday/Friday (6th Jan) to be delivered with special delivery by Saturday?

What are the benefits to the type of printing you use over other printers?

Hi Amy. You get to do your own custom design, 100% to your specification. We print full colour onto all heads.

You will need to provide us with a high res Photoshop image of your design; this part of the process isn’t handled on the website. Please contact Scott via the email or number at the top of the page and he’ll be able to talk you through the process and provide you with the exact specifications needed for your design. We also free assistance with graphic design so if you’re worried about getting it wrong just let us know.

How do I design the custom drum skin? I really want one with my name on it but I cant find anywhere to design it?

Hi Sophie! It usually takes no longer than 10 days maximum. 99% of our skins are delivered to your door in this timeframe. However, during the busy Christmas period you could be waiting a little more due to the mass of post.
