Another busy month with Rock Star Skins. Everyone is wanting new Custom Drum Heads. I was very lucky to go again to this years South By South West festival in Austin Texas. Also known as SXSW. It is the worlds biggest music industry conference. All the big labels, publishers, managers and booking agents meet to have a week of meetings, seminars and parties! I go every year to have meetings about my various projects in and outside of Rock Star Skins. While there though I did manage to meet up with Laurie from the Kasabian team. I have done a few skins for Laurie over the years and was very glad to meet him in person! please see the picture below of Kasabian’s custom drum skin (feather design) and me hanging around the backstage! They put on a great show. Real pleasure to see that up close. Also caught up with Ed Sheeran, who was bizarrely supporting Cher Lloyd at a Perez Hilton party…. That’s SXSW for you!  Also done a few custom drum heads for ‘Stiff Little Fingers’ recently, I am seeing them live at the end of this month! cant wait!!

Keep on rockin! lots of big things happening in the custom drum skin world for us, which will be revealed next month!

It’s been a very busy few months in the Custom Drum Head world! I have had orders from everyone including Peter Andre to Judas Priest (I don’t think a co-headline tour is on the cards anytime soon…)
